Texture and colour are the principal elements emphasized throughout Bina’s work to enable her to make an otherwise flat surface come to life.  By exploring various textural components through collage, she has been able to bring a depth to the canvas that is truly unique.  Please join us for the vernissage!

Summer exhibits have been added to the 'events' section.  We will be featuring artist Bina Mirza from June 3-28, hosting a special 3-day exhibit "Incredible India - Life in Colour" by artist Kiran Soni Gupta from June 12-14, and featuring our talented in-house artists in July and August. 

We are also holding a watercolour course by instructor and artist Leslie Dorofi - only 2 spaces left!  For more information, please see the 'art classes' section in the menu on the left.

Rothwell Gallery will be closed on Friday, April 10th and Saturday, April 11th.  Regular hours will resume on Tuesday, April 14th.

A few things...

Rothwell Gallery has received new artwork by John Alexander Day, Larry Deacon, David Houlton, and Erika Deruaz.  Come in to check it out!

Our featured artists for March and April, Lise Massicotte and Bill Keast, have been promoted in Fifty-Five Plus magazine!  You can find them on page 16 of the Ottawa section in the magazine, or on page 51 of the online version, available here.
